How it all began....
We met in 2010 when I visited Miami with some friends for a weekend getaway. Matt and his friends were in the nightlife industry so we were lucky enough to tag along for the fun. I spent that weekend partying while he worked and then I went back to Nashville. Fast forward to November 5, 2022 when the Vols succumbed to the Dawgs, then here comes Matt sliding into my DMs on Instagram after his first espresso martini (ever) while in NYC. The rest is history or rather….the start of our future. He visited the week of his birthday/New Years and asked me to be his girlfriend on December 29th. On May 28th, we spent the day celebrating my mom's birthday and enjoying the holiday weekend when Matt chose to ask my dad for my hand in marriage. His original plan was to ask me on our trip to Mexico for my birthday, but he couldn't wait and asked dad if it was okay to ask me that day...and he did--surrounded by loved ones on a perfect afternoon by the pool! Although we are a house divided (GO VOLS), we are so blessed and thankful that we crossed paths again and even more appreciative that you all are going to be a part of our big day! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making this life changing event so amazing for us both!
